Pre-Conference

Vendor Setup – Partners/Vendors may setup their tables during this time at Starvine (see Conference Center directory at any kiosk).  Any materials can be sent to CoLinear before 4/24 or to Emory Conference Center.

Registration – Conference Registration will be held outside of Starvine. Come get your nametag, visit with the CoLinear gang and mingle with other attendees.

Welcome Reception and Vendor Showcase – We’ll kick off the conference with a reception in Starvine 1. Come enjoy several different types of food at each station, learn what CoLinear partners are doing, and enjoy the open bar. Dress code is on the “casual” side of business casual.

Conference Day 1

Breakfast – The Emory Conference Center has amazing food!!  Enjoy a hot expanded continental breakfast buffet in the Oak Break Station.  Breakfast is served all morning starting at 7:00 am.

What We Have Been Up To – Our Last User Group Conference was in April of 2010.  We’ll outline, at a high level, what we’ve been up to since then, how our organization has changed, what we’ve accomplished, and what we’re focusing on.

Breaks – take this opportunity to mingle with our conference sponsors or other attendees!

Statistics – Digging deeper into what we’ve been up to, we’ll cover actual statistics of CoLinear and our customers — number of users on each version of Response, support tickets logged, features added, bugs fixed, average size of customers, average revenue of customers, and other relevant information that you’ve always wondered about.

eMerchant – Our platinum sponsor, eMerchant, will talk about what you can do to save time, money, and hassle on payment services.

Lunch – Head back to the Dining Room for a full lunch buffet.  We’ll collect topics for roundtable discussion topics and post them at tables during lunch.

Response 11 – During this session we’ll introduce, and even SHOW you, what the next version of Response will look like and new features it will include.

Response Tips and Tricks – This sessions will include valuable tips and tricks about commonly used and not-so-well-known areas of Response that can save you time and money.  You’ll be amazed what you can do!

Accounting – We have finally filled the Accounting gap in Response.   During this session, we’ll cover in extensive detail how we tackled accounting in Response, how to use the flexible G/L mapping functionality, how to leverage it to track your business processes to the penny, and how to transfer that information to your accounting system.

Open Floor Q & A – We’ll discuss topics covered during the day, and we’ll also go through the directory and discuss issues/topics/concerns relayed by YOU and discuss possible solutions or plans of attack as a group.    This is a very powerful session, always one of the most beneficial of the conference!  Help us make Response a better application by providing your feedback and ideas.

Dinner and Improv Comedy in Downtown Atlanta - We’ll provide the transportation, food, AND the entertainment!   We’ll enjoy dinner at Shout! in downtown Atlanta followed by a trip to the Whole World Theater for hilarious Improv Comedy.

Conference Day 2

Breakfast – The Emory Conference Center has amazing food!!  Enjoy a hot expanded continental breakfast buffet in the Oak Break Station.  Breakfast is served all morning starting at 7:00 am.

PCI, PA-DSS, Response, and You – Response is PA-DSS compliant.   This helps you become PCI compliant, but the emphasis is on YOU to become PCI compliant.  Find out why this is so important and how Response can help you become PCI compliant.

Getting the Most out of Support – We continually strive to provide the best customer service and technical support possible.   During this session we’ll show you how to get the most out of our tech support department by showing you actual examples of questions/incidents, bug reports, and feature requests.  By following a few simple guidelines you’ll get more information from us faster.   We’ll show you how information is tracked, how you can use your ticket system to get a real-time view of the status of your problem, how you can search for documentation, and what we do behind the scenes to get you answers and solve your problems.

Breaks – take this opportunity to mingle with our conference sponsors or other attendees!

Mobility (iOS) – Ever wanted to check your daily revenue or salesperson productivity from your iDevice?   There’s an app for that!

Order Fulfillment Best Practices – We are constantly amazed by the various ways our customers streamline the order fulfillment process.   We’ll have a best-practices panel share how they are streamlining the process, and we’ll explain how you can use Response to implement similar processes within your organization.

Warehouse Productivity – Wireless and Barcodes – one of the easiest ways to increase productivity is to give the folks in the warehouse better tools to pick, pack, ship, count, and verify.   We’ll extend the order fulfillment best practices panel to specific examples of devices and procedures used in the warehouse to ensure accurate picking, accurate stock counts, and rapid replenishment.

Wisteria Lanes – enjoy some food, fun, and relaxation at Wisteria Lanes – Emory Conference Center’s own private bowling alley!

Workshop

Importing Data (workshop) – we’ll show you, hands on, how to import and update various types of data within Response.  We’ve increased the file types available for import and will outline the capabilities of the tools, along with hands-on how-tos of the main import types.

Channel Manager (workshop) – Channel Manager can do a lot more than import web orders.   We’ll explain the process from a flowchart perspective, then dig into the guts of how we map the XML order data to the Response processes, then we’ll talk about the outbound capabilities of updating navigation and product data on websites with emphasis on CommerceV3 and Magento Commerce.

Response Data Model (workshop) – We’ll provide an updated document on the Response data model and go over how to read it, how to access your data from third party tools and report writers, and how to make sense of the data within Response from a “raw” data point of view.

General Reporting (workshop) – Crystal Reports has been the main tool for reporting inside of and outside of Response, but there are others.  We’ll explain the basics of reporting (using Crystal as a guide), how to link to Response data, and how to output and group information from Response.

One on One Sessions (workshop) – All of the CoLinear “brains” will be available during the workshop to address your specific needs and concerns.   Have specific problems or questions or projects that you need addressed, bring them and we’ll meet with you face-to-face to discuss and solve.
