Electronic Commerce has fundamentally changed the way we do business. Pioneering companies like Amazon.com set the high standards for web shopping that on-line consumers expect from all their vendors. These companies invested hundreds of millions to build their e-commerce infrastructure. And they continue to invest tens of millions annually to maintain and improve it.

Going head-to-head with these e-commerce giants doesn’t have to be a losing proposition. With the right system in place, you can compete favorably and at a cost you can easily afford. All you need is a solid front-end (shopping cart, etc.) fully-integrated with exceptional back-end fulfillment and customer service system like Response.

We at CoLinear recognize the tremendous significance and impact of electronic commerce and have worked hard to create the most advanced, cost-effective and practical solutions possible for internet direct commerce.

Rather than re-invent the wheel by building a “one-size-fits-all” shopping cart program, we directed our efforts instead towards creating the most flexible and robust connectivity solution possible. This way, you’re free to use whatever e-commerce product suits your particular needs now, tomorrow and in the years to come.

Some clients deploy their websites in-house. Others outsource this role to ISPs who build and maintain the website. Either way, our industry-standard connectors provide seamless integration between the Response back-end and your existing order-taking website.

Two major e-commerce solutions are available:

  1. The Response Connectivity Kit enables real-time connectivity between the Response back-end and virtually any website! Available in two flavors, one is used to connect a locally hosted website directly to the Response back-end using a server-side, ASP-based interface. The other links a remotely hosted website to the Response back-end via a middleware messaging connector that provides secure, high-performance and seamless visibility between the two domains.
  2. A batch-oriented, file-based order import module enables externally generated orders to be rapidly and painlessly loaded into Response. Extensive data validation routines ensure that only perfected orders are moved directly into the order processing queue. Those which fail to meet the user-configurable validation routines are held in suspense including reasons for the hold to facilitate quick and accurate resolution by customer service personnel.

A few of the major E-Commerce solutions commonly integrated with Response include:

  • CommerceV3
  • Magento
